Meet Danielle

Danielle Carey Tolan currently serves as Westfield Washington Township Trustee.  She was elected overwhelmingly in 2014 and began serving as Trustee on January 1, 2015.  As Trustee, she has transformed the Township government by streamlining daily operations with technology, rebranding with a new modern website and logo, and merging with the local City Parks Department managing all parks and recreation programming for the community, just to name a few.

Danielle comes from a 5th generation farming family, one of the few operating farms still in Westfield, and has become an active steward of the land and community.  She serves on many organizational boards within the state and locally such as Indiana Rural Caucus, Indiana Women in Agriculture, Open Doors of Washington Township, Westfield Youth Assistance Program, Downtown Westfield Association, past Westfield Washington Advisory Planning Commission Member, and many more.  Additionally, she recently served as co-chair of the Westfield Washington Schools Operating Referendum Committee, overseeing the campaign which ultimately passed by 81 percent.
